Dia de los Muertos
This project was about learning how to describe ourselves in Spanish and about the Mexican Day of the Dead as well as the culture around it.
During this project I learned a lot about the Spanish language and the culture and history around the ''Day of the Dead''. Also, in this project I made a skeleton that reflects me, if I were dead. I made my skeleton as a skier because I love to ski and I have been since I was two years old. I also made my skeleton 3D instead of a paper cut. I think it gave my skeleton a unique look, which I like. For this project I am proud of the amount of Spanish I did and doing it in video. I hope to continue to increase my Spanish vocabulary in the next project so as to help me in life.

This project has about creating a image of Frida Kahlo. This Frida was an actual Frida panting that we edited thorough Photoshop and then described it in spanish.
Mi Frida paragraphsMi Frida esta` deprimida porgue esta` divorciada de su marido, Diego. Ella quiere matar el mono porque parece como Diego. Mi Frida lleva ropa de hombres para mostrar su masculinidad. Ella està trist porque està sola. Pero ella tine sus animales. Mi Frida lleva una camisa blanca y pinza de pelo. Frida lleva un collar de plantas muertas y representa un par de cejas. A ella le gusta la joyería. Muestra que ella es mexicana y europea. Los animales son muy importantes a frida porque ellos están enamorados con frida. Los animales son los amantes pasados de Frida. El mono es el marido de Frida pero ella ama el gato, Leon Trotsky. 1. I think that Frida made so many auto-biographical paintings of herself was because she wanted to express her feeling about her self and her accident as well as her illness that prevented her from giving birth.
2. I feel that my Frida image could of been much more refined in Photoshop, more then I did anyway. I didn`t try as hard as I could of with my photoshop skills.
3. I do feel that my image came out fairly like what I has imaging but there is always room for improvement.
4. If I could restart I would try to produce a clearer image of Frida by refining my use of the quick selection tool and other Photoshop tools.
