A brief description...This project was a process of understanding reflexive, imperfect and preterit verbs and conjugation. By understanding this, we created a visual presentation on a person that had a Spanish background and interesting life. This presentation was 12 to 17 slides to show our understanding and knowledge of Spanish.
Reflection After looking back at this project and the exhibition, I feel that there are many places that I could have refined my project. To start, I felt that pronunciation of Spanish verbs and nouns could have been refined to a higher standard by taking time to organize my thoughts and ideas into a concise form. |
Porque statement
Estudio español porque quiero ser mas inteligente, por mi futuro trabajo y para encontrar a trabajo. Yo quiero aprender mas español mejor me y mi futuro.
I want to study spanish to think in different aspects about life and the different challenges that I will have to work through. I also want to open up as many job options in my future by learning to speak spanish fluently enough that I can apply it to my college application. Learning to speak spanish also allows me to apply what i learn to other options like travel or internships in other spanish speaking countries.

The day in the life project
This project was about any creative character and one day in their life. We used reflexives verbs in an attempt to master reflexives.

Yo fui a visitar la isla de Hawaii. Yo me quedé en un hotel en la playa. El hotel es muy satisfactorio por mi and mi familia. Yo fui a la playa todos las días y jugué en el mar.
Nadé en el mar y en la piscina del hotel todos las dias. Un dia mi hermano y yo fuimos a saltar de un precipicio. Pero mi hermano rompió su cabeza en el suelo. Fuimos al hotel. Yo fui con mi hermano al hospital. Yo regresé a la playa, jugué en el mar y me divertí. Mi hermano fue a la casa y yo me quedé en Hawaii. |
Project Description
This project used the past tense to to tell a story from my past in a more descriptive form. This project was a key to my Spanish learning because it put key wording into my sentence structure. |
The Che Project
This project was about learning and using the command form in spanish. We started this project by studying the command form and how there are curtain conjugation for AR,ER and IR words. We used Che Guevara as a figurehead to create "quotes" from Che. We used the Command form to make these quotes. This project turned out really well. I made a powerpoint presentation that used highly descriptive photos with the quotes to make a very interesting presentation.

La Casa en Mango Street oral presentation
This project was recording of the story of La Casa en Mango Street. We read and then told the story that I wrote in Spanish. We then recorded ourselves speaking the La Casa en Mango Street and presented it as a project.
